Alocasia are famous for their large foliage, with each variety having its own distinctive look. Don't be alarmed: its normal for alocasia's foliage to die back as they sometimes go dormant in the winter, but this does not mean your plant has died! Simply cut off any yellowing or dying leaves and watch a shoot come through in the spring.

PLANT CARE
Watering
- Ensure the top 2cm of soil has dried out before watering.
Light & Placement
- Alocasia require bright, indirect light. They will grow towards the light source so you may want to rotate often.
Humidity
- Alocasia grow best in humid conditions, which you can achieve by regular misting or by using a humidifier.
Good to know
- Give them a feed with liquid fertilizer once a month in spring and summer.
- Alocasia are mildly toxic if ingested by children or pets.
