Green tongue-like leaves give this plant its rather unfortunate nickname – Mother-in-law’s tongue! With yellow strips along the edge of each leaf, Sansevieria laurentii is a favorite of the sansevieria varieties, being also very low maintenance.

Snake plant is pretty drought-resistant, so be sure to let the soil dry out before watering again.

Bright, indirect light is best, however sansevieria can also tolerate both low-light and direct light reasonably well.
Humidity

Snake plant has no humidity requirements, so normal room humidity is just fine.
Good to know
- Give them a feed with liquid fertilizer once a month in spring and summer.
- Sansevieria is mildly toxic if ingested by children or pets.
